We have provided these services for many local, state and federal government agencies including Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, PA Turnpike Commission, DGS, Allegheny County Department of Public Works, Allegheny County Airport Authority, City of Pittsburgh, Port Authority of Allegheny County, Army Corps of Engineers, Department of Air Force, Pennsylvania Air National Guard, Housing Authority of the City of Pittsburgh and other local authorities and private corporations and developers.

    • Various services have been performed under three separate work orders


RIVERFRONT FACILITIES

1. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District
  • Provided various engineering, design and field surveying services under several separate work orders under IDC for A/E services. These services included riverfront structures design, rehabilitation of existing facilities, reliability and risk analysis and design, as well as inspections and load ratings of service bridges.


PUBLIC HOUSING

1. CITY OF PITTSBURGH HOUSING AUTHORITY
  • Bernice Washington Crawley Manor
    • Structural, electrical, HVAC and plumbing redesign for conversion of multilevel efficiency housing units into 1 and 2 bedroom units
  • Bidwell High Rise
    • MEP System Design for multi-story building rehabilitation.

2. ROBINSON MANOR

  • Complete facility design for a 50-unit, multilevel senior citizen living facility in Robinson Township, PA
    • Complete architectural design, including programming, and civil, structural, electrical, HVAC and fire protection system design


CORRECTIONAL FACILITIES

1. FEDERAL BUREAU OF PRISONS
  • U.S. Penitentiary, Allenwood, PA
    • Complete A/E services for the addition of an education annex at the existing federal correctional facility
  • U.S. Penitentiary, Lewisburg, PA
    • Renovation of existing showers in a multilevel, maximum-security prison facility
    • Replacement of existing coal-fired boilers with new gas-fired boilers
    • Complete A/E services for the construction of a new watchtower
  • Federal Correctional Institution, Loretto, PA
    • Complete A/E services for the expansion of a satellite camp facility to be used as a dormitory and fitness facility


2. DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL SERVICES

    • Conversion of existing facility into a minimum-security housing unit for 300 female inmates
  • Mayview State Hospital
    • Complete A/E design for replacement of elevators in the Dixon Building

    • In-depth inspection, analysis, and rehabilitation design for multilevel parking structures

  • Morgantown Federal Building - Parking garage rehabilitation, Morgantown Post Office
    • Design and replacement of a portion of garage deck
  • William S. Moorhead Federal Building - Garage ramp and loading dock rehabilitation
    • Structural, electrical and HVAC design for comprehensive rehabilitation of garage ramp and dock area

3. PORT AUTHORITY OF ALLEGHENY COUNTY

  • Light Rail Transit System Design, Stage II
    • Electrical, mechanical, fire protection and plumbing system design on a 7-story, 2,200 car parking structure at South Hills Village on the LRT System

1. MONONGAHELA INCLINE

  • Comprehensive Renovations
    • In-depth inspection and civil, structural, mechanical, HVAC and plumbing design to modernize the existing facility

2. PITTSBURGH PRODUCE TERMINAL

  • Modernization of Existing Produce Storage and Distribution Facility
    • Civil, structural, electrical and plumbing design for storage area and loading dock facility

3. HAYS SOUND STAGE, PHASE I - FEASIBILITY STUDY

  • Feasibility study for conversion of existing ammunition plant into sound stage studio for feature film production
    • Civil, structural, electrical, mechanical, HVAC and plumbing system evaluation

4. SHIPPING FOR NUCLEAR BREADER REACTOR NO. 1

  • Performed reverse engineering/design services during dismantling and demolition of first ever nuclear breader reactor. Services provided to General Electric Nuclear Fuel Division.
